Abstract Title:Synthesis of Smart Phase-Engineered Polyurethane Coatings for Biomedical Applications
Biography: I am an assistant professor at the University of Tehran, affiliated with the School of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering, Polymer Group. My research focuses on polymer synthesis and coatings, with particular interest in biopolymers and their surface properties. I have worked extensively on designing smart, anti-biofouling polymeric surfaces for biomedical applications. I completed a research sabbatical at the POLYMAT institute in Spain, where I collaborated on advanced polymeric systems with controlled wettability and functionality. In addition to my academic activities, I also serve as the Vice Associate of International and Public Relations at the school of chemical engineering. My work bridges polymer chemistry, surface engineering, and biomedical applications and have published decades of articles in related journals.
