Abstract Title: Evaluation of Hardness Testing Methods in Sterling Silver (925) Blanks for Commemorative Coins

Biography: Claudia Palomino Zelaya received her degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). She is a Specialist in Planning – Quality at the National Mint of Peru (Casa Nacional de Moneda), part of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. Her work focuses on sampling and quality control of blanks and stamped pieces, statistical analysis of data, and laboratory testing. She conducts spectrometric analyses using spark optical emission spectrometry (S-OES) and carries out studies in hardness, adhesion force, and electroplating processes. Her research interests include materials science, metallurgical processes, and analytical methods for coinage quality assurance.
