Abstract Title: Engineering Multifunctional Nanostructures for Advanced Room-Temperature Gas Sensing: From Sustainable Heterostructures to Doped Metal Oxides
Biography: Dr. Sheikh Manjura Hoque has completed her PhD in the year of 2007 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (sandwich PhD programme with Uppsala University, Sweden) and postdoctoral studies from Yale University, the U.S.A. She is the Head of the Division of Materials Science Division, Atomic Energy Centre Dhaka, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, a premier R&D organization of Bangladesh where she joined in 2001. Her research interest encompass on versatile fields nanomagnetics, nanoelectronics, nanobiomaterials, optoelectronic and gas sensing properties of thin films. She has published more than 190 papers in the reputed journals and is the recipient of Bangladesh Academy of Science Gold Medal Award. Dr. Hoque was also awarded with Alumni Excellence Award from Holy Cross College on 75th anniversary. She worked in the Editorial board of Frontiers in Chemistry.
