Abstract Title: Solar-to-X using Hybrid Artificial and Semi-Artificial Materials Designs

Biography: Dr. Sai Kishore Ravi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2018 and leads the Message– Lab, focusing on artificial and semi-artificial photosynthesis, biohybrid catalysis, and sustainable water–energy nexus systems. He has published over 75 papers in leading journals and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Energy Technology. He previously served as Associate Editor for Advanced Materials at Wiley-VCH Weinheim, Germany. He has been recognized with awards including the “Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award (IES, Singapore)”, Young Scientist Award (GC-DEM, 2023), Rising Star (Advanced Energy Materials, 2025), and the Early Career Teaching Award (SEE, CityUHK, 2025).
